Cuts For A Cause: Fort McMurray
When we first learned of the devastation affecting our friends in Fort McMurray, Wood Buffalo, and across Northern Alberta, we were heartbroken.Over 36,381 households affected. 750 fire fighters deployed. And 80,000 of our neighbours, friends and family evacuated.
Thankfully, in hard times come good people. Even though we can't be on the ground to lend a hand in person, we do want to support in the best way we know how—cutting hair:
Join us at “Cuts for a Cause” on Saturday, June 4 at Hedkandi Hotel Arts for haircuts or blowouts with a minimum $50 donation. We’ll have food, drinks, and even better friends. Proceeds from this event will go directly to the Red Cross to aid those most in need.
